A PRAYER FROM A FRIEND

Here I am, sitting in a wooden chair, writing a memory of you, my dear old friend. I remember the last time we met, on an empty road before we’re apart. You put your hand on my shoulder, and a smile adorned your friendly face, you wished me succes and happy, and you promised that you’ll pray for me Today, when my heart are blue and uncertain, When my mind is confused by troubles and choices, Your smiling face came to mind and greeted me. Telling me again to be steady. I remember that what you’ve said had made me happy.  It made me feel stronger and sure about things I’ve planned for me. I said to you, pray for me, and gestures you made assured me, That a prayer from you was prepared for me already That was a prayer from a friend, whom I knew was sent by God Himself. For in your prayer i found strength and certainty. And when you hold my hand I sense His deepest love. So I thank the Lord that He’d send me, Such a beautiful soul as you.
